Hiking the JMT: Zero Day in Mammoth (Day 7)

Highlights of Day 7

  • Spent a zero day* in Mammoth to replace our faulty solar charger.
  • Said farewell to our two friends who hiked the first 6 days of the trail with us.
  • Took showers & washed our dirty dirty clothes.
  • Ate pizza and a juicy hamburger. Yum!

*A “zero day,” for any loved ones reading this who are unfamiliar with the thru-hiking jargon, refers to a day when you hike zero miles, aka a rest day.
